2004-03 UPDATE - Market Snapshots
of the WEB
January 2004. Nearly three-quarters of
500 global business IT decision-makers plan to replace personal computers, and
nearly half plan to replace laptops over the coming year, spurred by the increasing
demands of new applications, combined with overdue replacement cycles. High demand
for business PCs generally portends a pick-up in investment by companies in other
technology products.

of the WEB
June 2002. IBM has developed a new data
storage technology resembling the old punch cards, but on a molecular scale, and
rewriteable. Noting the mobile and handheld industries, IBM contemplates storing

of data].
