We’re watching an understated little (one-page) site called Linkie Winkie. The site appeared a few days ago on June 23rd, and we saw its announcement in ThreadWatch in this story about a new viral experiment.

Dealer Locator - Hosted

Zipwise Software is offering a free public beta test of its latest service - a dealer locator based on zipcode. You supply the list of dealers (branches, chapters, or any such sub-location), and Zipwise hosts the lookup function on its own server. All you need to implement the service is a small piece of code in your web page, and they say it integrates seamlessly.

Last week Anil Dash opened a unique discussion on The Interesting Economy, by suggesting that Flickr should reward its most popular subscribers through a system of monetization.

Google Base - Classifieds Beta

Google wants to open the classifieds to the users, and let them “manage” it (algorithmically of course) by their aggregate postings - this is the fundamental insight into Google’s new service, Google Base, a beta test of post-it-yourself classifieds, launched on Tuesday in beta form.
